Francois Mahop AKA "Forrest", has been involved in Parkour for nearly 2 decades. Having learned the sport in his native France, he was the first person in the UK to provide indoor/outdoor parkour classes that were accessible to everyone.
Francois opened and ran the first Parkour club/academy in 2004, and was the first person to introduce Parkour to schools, in 2005.
As a founder & director of Parkour Generations and a founder & director of ParkourUK(NGB for Parkour/Freerunning), along with his team, he gained official recognition of Parkour as a sport, by Sport England in 2017, and was also responsible for the development of the first Parkour specific insurance.
Francois is one of the rare individuals in the world, that is qualified as a Parkour/freerunning coach, tutor and assessor, and was a co-founder of the ADAPT & Parkour Fitness Specialist qualifications.
His coaching skills are undeniable and his method was, and still is, passed on and used by the best Parkour coaches in the world, including Sébastien Foucan (Casino Royale).
Starting in the summer of 2019, Francois will start delivering outdoor Parkour classes, as well as outdoor Parkour fitness classes in the Reigate area.
